The October 18 Chisinau–Milan-Chisinau flight operated by Air Moldova was cancelled owing to the strike staged by Italian air traffic controllers. The landing of planes at the Malpensa Airport in Milan according to schedule was banned, IPN has learned from the Moldovan airline.

The permission to land at the airport in Milan was given for 02.30, the local hour of Milan. Thus, the Chisinau–Milan plane will take off from the Chisinau International Airport at 01.10, October 19.
