The Muncipality opened a hotline and a special mailbox, where people can report corruption cases within the local public administration, Info Prim Neo reports. According to the City Hall press service, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca issued an ordinance regarding the opening of hotline (022) 22-32-53, which will be available from Monday till Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM, with a break between 12 AM and 1 PM. The special mailbox is placed on the information panel near the City Hall (the intersection of Stefan cel Mare Avenue and Vlaicu Parcalab Street). The opening of the hotline and the special mailbox are measures stipulated by the Antifraud and Anticorruption Policy of the Chisinau Municipality, a document meant to create an internal institutional environment that would contribute to fighting corruption and fraud in local public administration.
