A grants program launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sport offers logistic and financial support to youth initiatives, projects and programs, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry, the contest is open to nongovernmental organizations that implement youth projects and initiatives. Priority will be given to the projects that will be based on the principles of economic, civil, education, and cultural participation. The types of activities that will be supported are: debates, consultations, campaigns, congresses, conferences, experience exchanges, participation in international events, seminars, training courses, etc. The projects will be assessed by an examination commission. The Ministry of Youth and Sport will sign financing agreements with the applicants who will receive the approval of the commission. The applications and financing documents will be submitted in closed envelopes to the Ministry of Youth and Sport: 162 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd., Chisinau MD-2004, storey 8, office 816. The deadline for applications is February 22, 17.00.
