Dacia return to the top
Dacia Chisinau have returned to the top of the table after the 31st matchday of the National Division. On Wednesday, April 6, the “Yellow Wolves” won the away fixture at Iskra-Stal Rabnita. The only goal of the game was scored on 69 minutes, by Dacia’s Georgian defender David Gamezardashvili, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Dacia are now 3 points ahead of rivals Sheriff Tiraspol, who succumbed to a 1-0 defeat away at Olimpia Balti. By the middle of the second half, referee Petru Stoianov red-carded a player from each team. The home side bagged the winner through Nigerian Jude Ogada. After this victory, Olimpia is joint-third in the table with Iskra-Stal, having 60 points each. Milsami Orhei and Zimbru Chisinau follow with one point less.
Milsami easily dispatched bottom side Sfantul Gheorghe Suruceni. Gheorghe Boghiu scored all the goals, making it 4-0 for Milsami. He is now the league’s top-scorer with 19 goals.
Zimbru bested Gagauzia Comrat 3-1, thanks to goals from Ilie Balasa, Mihai Turcan and Maxim Antoniuc.
