Decision makers from former Ministry of Industry investigated on charges of abuse of authority
Decision makers from the former Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure are investigated on charges of abuse of authority for consenting to cede the state's controlling interest in a company, The General Prosecutor's Office reported.
According to the prosecutors, in April 2008 the deputy minister of industry and infrastructure, without any written authorization from the Public Property Agency, authorized the state's representative in the stock company Artmet to vote for an increase in company's equity, which resulted in the loss of the controlling interest (91.77% to 45%).
