A number of political organizations intend to stage demonstrations in Chisinau on May 1. The parties submitted notifications to the Chisinau City Hall’s Social-Humanitarian and Interethnic Relations Division by which they informed the local authorities about the place and hour of the planned events, IPN reports.

In the April 21 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, the Division’s head Violeta Crudu said the Party of Socialists intends to mount a Solidarity March from the Chisinau Circus up to the square of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. The column will go along Renasterii Nationale Blvd, Banulescu Bodoni St and Stefan cel Mare Blvd. The party also has a reserve route: from the Holy Gates to Stefan cel Mare Blvd up to “Valea Morilor” Park.

The Party of Communists plans to stage a demonstration in the square of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in connection with the International Labor Day.

The Liberal Party on May 1 will hold an event in the Great National Assembly Square, while the Democratic Party – in the square of the National Opera House “Maria Biesu”.
