The Government of Austria will donate €100,000 for repairing the hospital of the Pruncul-based penitentiary, Austrian Minister of Justice Claudia Bandion-Ortner announced during a visit to the institution, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Austrian official visited the penitentiary on November 3 together with Deputy Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim and director general of the Department of Penitentiary Institutions Vadim Cojocaru. The members of the delegation visited the operation hall, the clinic’s laboratory, the psycho-neurological block and the Mother and Child House that accommodates female prisoners with children. About 150 operations have been performed in the penitentiary’s hospital so far this year.
