The State Weather Service today issued a code-yellow advisory warning of hydrological drought, a type drought that refers to deficiencies in surface and subsurface water supplies, IPN reports.
The advisory covers the entire country and is effective from today until the end of the month.
The Service said the advisory is in connection with the low rainfall levels and high temperatures recorded in the recent period, which caused water levels to drop in rivers and lakes across the country.
Considering this, both companies and the general public are urged to use water consciously.
