The compensations granted by the state for energy consumption in December will be higher by at least 200 lei than the compensatory payments for November. The Cabinet approved the decision on the provision of energy compensations. Thus, the minimum compensation offered by the state for the payment of energy resources for December will be 500 lei, and the maximum compensation will be 1,000 lei, IPN reports.

"We are aiming at a lower post-compensation rate than last year for all recipients of compensations. Thus, the compensation for December for those who consume gas will increase," said Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu.

The compensations for December will be available after January 10 and the notifications regarding the size of compensations will also be sent after January 10. There will be compensated 150 cubic meters of gas, said the minister.
