An exhibition of cartoons by young people from various high schools in Chisinau has opened at the Parliament. The exhibition contains 35 works reflecting historical phenomena, events and characters, IPN reports.

The cartoons were selected within the framework of the municipal interdisciplinary contest "Satire comments on history", organized by the "Prometheus-Prim" High School of Creativity and Inventiveness, a statement issued by the Parliament said.

"Through this contest we aimed to develop students' research skills, stimulate their creativity, form critical thinking, emulate emotional well-being and apply skills in new contexts," said the project coordinator Alexandra Chirica, a history and society education teacher at the "Prometheus-Prim" High School.

The cartoon exhibition is open until April 14.
