An unidentified object caused an explosion in a household in Scorteni village, Telenesti district, leaving a 34-year-old man dead. Liliana Puscasu, press officer of the Civil Protection Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the blast took place on Friday, July 8, around 7.30 PM. The man who died was from Ignateni, Rezina district. Apparently he was in Scorteni for work and was building a fence. Despite the arrival of policemen, MAI engineers, firemen and rescuers, the object that caused the explosion wasn’t found. The case is being investigated. Also on Friday, in a household in Ghelauza village, Straseni district, two bottles of paint thinner exploded, causing first and second degree burns to the house owner.
