Festival of social theaters for young people to take place in November

Ten teams of young people from all over the country, including with disabilities, will take part in a festival of social theaters at the end of November. The young people will present by a play by which they will promote one of the topical social themes such as the risky behavior of the teens, the effects of migration or the prevention of sexual infections and HIV, IPN reports.

The festival will be staged the fourth year in a row. The winners will receive prizes and special presents.

Ana Susarenkco, who is in charge of the organization of the event, has told IPN that such performances turned out to be an efficient method of educating and informing the young people.

The young actors will be trained by a professional actor. The plays will last for at most 15 minutes each.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, the young people’s network From Equal to Equal, and the United Nations Population Fund in Moldova.
