Fifteen invitees of a wedding party held in a restaurant in Chisinau suffered food poisoning on September 7. Three of them were admitted to the hospital, Chisinau Health Division head Mihai Moldovanu announced in Monday’s ordinary meeting of City Hall officials, IPN reports.

Mihai Moldovanu said this is the second case of food poisoning in this restaurant. Fifty persons poisoned themselves with food there on August 31. Of them, 46 were hospitalized.

Deputy chief doctor of the municipal Public Health Center Mihail Palanciuc said that after the first case of poisoning, the Center’s specialists carried out a number of inspections there and made orders to close the restaurant. He could not explain why the restaurant continues to work.
