The public control commission of the Civil Society Council under the President of the Republic of Moldova was dismembered by Igor Dodon as a result of a misinformation campaign initiated by the Socialist councilor of Chisinau Ion Ceban, stated the ex-chairman of the commission Fiodor Ghelici.
In a news conference at IPN, Fiodor Ghelici said that everything started in October, when he had a conflict with Ion Ceban’s mother Eugenia Ceban, who is also a municipal councilor. Fiodor Ghelici said Eugenia Ceban harmed his honor and dignity. He thus went to the head office of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) to demand that she should apologize publicly and then submitted a complaint to the municipal authorities, demanding that Eugenia Ceban should be penalized.
Fiodor Ghelici also said that Igor Dodon is a President who can manage the country, but should get rid of those who discredit him. “Ion Ceban should be removed the first. His mother Eugenia Ceban should be removed next as she humiliates all the employees of the City Hall,” he stated.
According to the activist, when he headed the given commission, he permanently informed the President about cases of corruption, which also involved representatives of the PSRM that Igor Dodon managed before being elected Head of State. Ghelici said he possesses documents that confirm his assertions.
During three months, the commission worked on a voluntary basis and the members didn’t enjoy working conditions. However, Fiodor Ghelici said he is not angry with the President and is ready to further assist him with his expertise.
