Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa and Dacia Chisinau are the current leaders of the Moldovan premiership after Round 12 which was held over the weekend, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Dacia beat Olimpia Balti 3-1 to fend off the latter's attempt to take the lead in the National Division. The goals for Dacia were scored by Ghenadie Orbu and Georgia's David Gamezardashvili (who scored twice), and Olimpia's goal was scored by Jean Jerome Robens. With this victory, Dacia caught up with Iskra-Stal, who were held to a 0-0 draw by Academia UTM at Chisinau.
Sheriff Tiraspol also improved their position in the National Division after defeating Milsami Orhei 2-0.
Other Round 12 games ended as follows: Gagauzia Comrat – 5-1 – Nistru Otaci; FC Costuleni – 1-2 – FC Tiraspol; Dinamo – 1-0 – Zimbru; Rapid – 2-0 – St. Gheorghe.
