The fourth International Fair of People’s Potters “At the Birthplace of Potter Vasile Gonciari” will be held in Hoginesti village of Calarasi district on July 20, IPN reports.

The Tourism Agency said the event will bring together craftsmen from a number of states, who will exhibit their best works. It will include interactive pottery workshops and exhibits by craftsmen and potters. The visitors will be able to purchase authentic handicrafts.

The fair will be opened officially at 10am. Afterward, until 3pm, artistic groups of the homes of culture from Calarasi district will give a concert. At 1pm, the potters will be given prizes in an award ceremony, while at 2pm the guests of the fair will be able to visit the village’s museum.
