During four days, health care practitioners will provide free medical advice within the exhibition “MoldMedizin & MoldDent” that starts at the Exhibitions Center “Moldexpo” on September 9, between 11am and 5:30pm. Contacted by IPN, head of the Chisinau Council’s Health Division Mihai Moldovanu said the visitors will have consultations according to the principle “first come, first served”. No preliminary appointments need to be scheduled.
The first exhibit will be held under the theme “Together towards a healthy heart”. Those who want will be able to consult with the family doctor, cardiologist, neurologist, dietologist, phytotherapist, endocrinologist and somnologist or to measure their blood pressure. The same day, there will be held a psychological counseling seminar to reduce the influence of risk factors and increase the influence of protection factors on persons predisposed to taking drugs, smoking and drinking alcohol.
The agenda includes seminars and roundtable meetings to discuss “10 steps to a healthy heart”. Practical exercises for a healthy heart will be presented in front of the central pavilion from 11am until 5pm. There will be distributed brochures teaching how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
The events on September 10 will take place under the theme “For our children”. On this day, the visitors will be able to have consultations with the pediatrician, logopedist, ophthalmologist, orthopedist, neurologist and dentist. Those who want can consult with a kinetotherapist for money. There will be staged seminars entitled “Frequently ill child”, “Correct and non-dangerous clothing”, “What is vaccination”, “How to choose toys”, etc.
The day of September 11 is dedicated to women’s health. Specialists will provide free advice on dermatology, cosmetology, mammalogy, endocrinology, cardiology and neology. The seminars will center on the “Syndrome of fetal alcoholism”, “Particularities of women’s alcoholism”, “Woman and pregnancy”, and “Woman and diabetes”.
On the last day, September 12, there will be discussed again the topic “Together towards a healthy heart”. The visitors will have consultations with the family doctor, dietologist, cardiologist, neurologist, phytotherapist, psychologist and somnologist.
