Gaming place owners caused damage of 830,000 lei to state

The owners of several gaming places caused damage of over 830,000 lei to the state budget. The police and the State Tax Inspectorate checked six gaming halls in Chisinau and in all the cases there were identified violations, Info-Prim Neo reports. The identified violations include the performing of entrepreneurial activity without being registered with the inspection bodies, and without license, and hampering of the inspection carried out by the competent bodies. Also, some of the places didn’t use cash registers, while others sold alcoholic drinks without excise duties or forged excise duties. According to the State Main Tax Inspectorate, the owners of the gaming places caused damage to the state budget by not paying the license tax. They were fined a total of 230,000 lei. There were also sealed up 61 gaming machines.
