Government allocates $125,000 for costs related to Le Bridge case
The Government has set up a commission to select a law firm that will represent our country before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in the case of Franck Charles Arif/Le Bridge vs Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports.
To cover the costs related to this case the Government has allocated $125,000 from its reserve fund.
The commission will be chaired by Deputy Justice Minister Vladimir Grosu and will also include Deputy Finance Minister Victor Barbaneagra, Deputy Government Roman Cazan, Anticorruption Center vice director Gheorghe Russu, and Public Procurement Agency director Stefan Creanga.
Franck Charles Arif is the owner of the retail company Le Bridge that won the right to open a number of duty free stores at the Chisinau International Airport. He sued the Moldovan government for €50 million damages after he was obstructed to open them.
