Government allocates 1m lei from reserve fund for 2013 National Award

The Government decided to allocate 1 million lei from the reserve fund for conferring the ten 2013 National Awards, IPN reports.

In a previous meeting, the Government approved the allocation of 212,000 lei from the reserve fund for making accessories that accompany the National Award, including medals, boxes, and diplomas.

The 2013 National Award laureates are: painter Eleonora Romanescu; composer and conductor Gheorghe Mustea; tenor Mihail Munteanu; writer Spiridon Vangheli; filmmaker, director and producer Victor Bucataru, who will receive the prize posthumously; doctors habilitate in agriculture Nicolae Eremia and Maria Goncearuc; boxing coach Petru Caduc, and the group of authors directed by scientific researcher Andrei Munteanu and rector Ion Ababii.

Each of the individual or group awardees will receive by 100,000 lei.
