An illegal facility for counterfeiting alcohol was discovered home at a 29 year old man from Hancesti district. He is suspected to have supplied with counterfeit alcohol the marketplaces in Chisinau, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Chisinau Police, the young man was pulled over while driving a car full of liquors to a marketplace in Botanica sector. He confessed that he bottled the drinks in a house on Fantanilor Street and the he had no papers that would allow him to run such a business.

The police discovered and seized bottling equipment and about 600 liters of alcohol. The young man was fined 3000 lei and his products seized until the court sentence.
