Heavy rains coming after heat wave
After an extended heat wave, meteorologists forecast heavy rains accompanied by hail and linting for Tuesday evening and Wednesday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
On this occasion, the State Weather Service issued a yellow-coded warning. In parts of the country the heavy showers will also be accompanied by winds blowing at up to 24 m/s.
Further rains are forecasted for the end of the week, in particular in the central and southern part of the country.
Today an orange-coded heat advisory is still in place, with highs predicted to hit +39 degrees Celsius. Starting Wednesday, the weather will cool by several degrees, down to +22 degrees by weekend.
