Hospice Angelus is organizing the sixth Hospice Football Cup, which is a tournament for amateur teams. The event is staged annually with the aim of collecting funds for children and adults who suffer from incurable diseases at progressive and advanced stages and with limited life expectancy, IPN reports.
A number of 24 teams are to take part in this year’s competition. It is planned to raise about 100,000 lei that will be go to ensure the continuity of palliative care services provided free to the patients of Hospice.
The participating teams will consist of six players on the field and up to four players in reserve. The persons or organizations that want to take part are encouraged to form one or several teams and to make a donation of 2,000 lei. Also, the event can be sponsored by establishing a partnership with Hospice Angelus.
The teams can register by writing to the email address cristina.sirbu@hospice.md. The event will take place on October 1st, at Sports Club Real- Succes, 17/2 Mihai Viteazu Street.
Hospice Angelus Moldova provides palliative care services. In 2015, the organization offered assistance to over 2,300 patients.
