The kitchen of the secondary school of Dancu village from Hancesti district was flooded as a result of the recent heavy rain. In some parts of the district the water measures over 1 meter. The mayor of Hancesti town Alexandru Botnari has told IPN that more than 25 roads were damaged, while over 50 houses were flooded in the town alone.

According to the mayor, emergency teams are pumping water out of houses and cellars. The head of Hancesti district Grigore Cobzac said that dozens of houses were flooded, but details will be available after the information is synthesized.

Oleg Tabarna, head of the Emergencies Division of Causeni district, said that most of the houses were flooded in Copanca village. Rescuers from Stefan Voda were sent to the village to pump the water out. In Saiti, 1 km of road was seriously damaged and a cow was killed by lightning. In Ciuflesti, the levee of a pond was close to bursting, but steps were taken to prevent a flood.

The head of Stefan Voda district Vasile Buzu said there were flooded basements and homes in the villages Talmaza and Olanesti. At least 100 homes and dozes of basements were flooded in Chisinau. Over 20 trees were downed by the wind. On June 30, the rescuers pumped the water out of two houses situated in Durlesti town of Chisinau municipality. Eight persons were evacuated, two of whom children. The rescuers also towed a number of vehicles out of the water on the streets Albisoara and Calea Iesilor in Chisinau.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, 43 settlements in 14 districts were disconnected from the power supply as a result of the rain and wind.
