Inclusive ground at a kindergarten in Chisinau

An inclusive sports field was put up at Kindergarten No. 167 in Chisinau. The space is intended for the 78 children with hearing impairments and special needs, who attend the institution, IPN reports.

The inclusive ground is part of the 10 public interest initiatives financed through the Civil Budget Program this year, of which five projects have already been successfully completed.

"It is important to emphasize that we also managed to complete the thermal insulation works at the Kindergarten, a premiere for the institution in its 42 years of work. Also, Kindergarten No. 167 was outfitted with additional equipment all of which is designed to ensure the necessary conditions for a harmonious development of the children and for the work of the 40 employees," mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban said at the inauguration event.

The street Ipate Soroceanu that goes nearby was also repaired, within the Project to rehabilitate access to educational institutions in Chisinau municipality. "We know that we have a lot to do, but we will continue to work to develop the educational system, to build the future of young people and the country," the mayor stressed.

During the four editions of the Civil Budget Program, the municipality implemented about 40 projects of public interest, including the building of playgrounds and sports fields, rehabilitation and laying out of public spaces and pedestrian alleys, creation of media hubs and squares for young people, production of podcasts and conduct of surveys.
