IPA awards authors of best articles on European matters

The Independent Press Association (IPA) announced the results of the national contest of articles and reports on the European topics “European Reporter”, the second edition, on Monday, December 29. The Info-Prim Neo News Agency received one of the prizes. The contest’s goal was to challenge the interest of the local and national media for European issues. The contest’s board, the members of which are experts in journalism, gave prizes of two categories. Dmitri Kalak from the publication “Ekonomicheskoye Obozrenie” received the first prize at the category Written Press. The second prize was given to Info-Prim Neo’s reporter Eugenia Pogor and Valentina Baciu from the daily “Timpul de dimineata.” The third prize was given to Olesea Hancu from the newspaper “Ora Locala” (Ialoveni). The first prize of broadcasting was given to Liliana Barbarosie from Radio Free Europe. The second prize was given to Ludmila Barba from Moldova International TV. The third prize was not offered. The contest’s laureates received diplomas and money. The contest was organized by the IPA, supported by Soros Foundation-Moldova, within the project “Strengthening the European Reporter network of journalists.”
