Acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca expressed his congratulations to the salary earners on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day. He said that the Government aims to cooperate with the social partners, pursue coherent policy on labor and ensure the conditions needed to build a modern labor market, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Government, the interim Premier said that the Moldovan people is hardworking and diligent and the holiday of work is a good occasion for reiterating the respect for the working people and the firm commitment to ensure high living standards in Moldova.

“On the occasion of the International Workers’ Day, I offer my congratulations to all the Moldovans working in the country and abroad, ensuring thus Moldova’s development. I wish everyone new accomplishments, peace in your homes and success in the assiduous work for Moldova’s future,” Iurie Leanca says in his congratulatory message.

He also said that for the set objectives to be achieved, measures are being taken to improve the normative and legal framework of Moldova.
