A judge of the Commercial Court remained without immunity and will stand trial. Such a decision was taken by the Supreme Council of Magistrates following a notification made by Prosecutor General Corneliu Gurin. The judge was accused of abuse of power, IPN has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

During the investigation, it was established that the judge in 2009 intervened in a case that he earlier stopped following a reconciliation agreement reached by the side and ordered substituting the sequestration by which plaintiffs’ claims were to be fulfilled. As a result, two companies sustained damage.
