On August 18, is the last day for filing applications for the National Prize that will be awarded on August 27. As many as 25 personalities from different fields have submitted applications so far, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Moldovanu has told Info-Prim Neo. ”The applications will be accepted until 5pm. Between August 19 and 23, the commission of experts will hold several meetings to decide who will hold the ten prizes. We expect yet applications to come from ministries and relevant organizations,” said Mihai Moldovanu. On the occasion of 20 years of the proclamation of Moldova’s independence, the Government decided to offer ten prizes of 100,000 lei each to personalities from science, technology, culture and sport.
