Man arrested for raping Moldovan woman at pension in Romania

The Romanian police arrested a 28-year-old man from Moldova on suspicion that he raped the young woman who fell from the second floor of a pension in Romania’s town Risnov, realitatea.net reported, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. According to the spokesman of the Brasov County Police Inspectorate Liviu Naghi, the man formed part of the group of Moldovan tourists who stopped at “Tudor” pension in Risnov for the Christmas holidays. The police established that he raped Domnica Novac aged 20. They did not yet specify if the girl was pushed or she jumped. The victim was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition on January 4. She was found on the pavement in front of the pension at about 5am. She was almost naked. She went to Risnov together with 20 friends from Moldova, who were mainly students. A number of bottles of alcohol were found in the girl’s room. The police questioned all the tourists and personnel of the pension. The young woman is now in the neurosurgery section of the Brasov County Hospital.
