A dweller of the two Chisinau apartment buildings known as the “City’s Gates” Friday informed the Ambulance Service that a person fell from height. When the ambulance arrived, the man was dead. He had only underpants on him. Ambulance Service managing doctor Silvia Babara has told Info-Prim Neo that the call was made at about 1pm. The dwellers of the block said the man was their neighbor. He was 51 and lived on the 22nd floor together with a woman. Most probably, he fell from the balcony of his apartment. The neighbors told the police the man liked sunbathing and often sat in the sun on the balcony. He was alone at home today as his partner was at work. An investigation is under way. The police do not rule out suicide.
