Two men died over last weekend. One died in flames, and the other drowned, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, Liliana Puscasu, one of the men, aged 56, from Balti, was found drowned in the lake nearby Parlita village, Falesti district. His body was drawn out by divers, who investigated the place after finding the victim’s personal belongings on the shore of the lake. Another 50-year-old man burned after a fire flared up in his house in Colonita village in Chisinau municipality. The goods in two rooms burned as a result. The preliminary investigations show that the fire was caused by imprudence while smoking.
