The police arrested a man, 21, who is accused of strangling a Chisinau elderly woman to death before robbing her of a gold teeth prosthesis, money and other content from her house, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the suspect was arrested one day after the murder. He is from Mascauti village, Criuleni district, and unemployed. The investigation found that on October 9, the young man broke into the 82-year-old woman’s house and strangled her with his bare hands. The suspect was previously convicted for theft. Now he is charged with murder, which is punishable by 12 to 20 years in jail or even life sentence.
