An inebriated man remained alive after a train passed over him. It happened in the evening of June 10 on railroads not far from Muncesti St of Chisinau. Doctors said the man was very lucky to survive, IPN reports.

According to the National Emergency Medicine Center, the man wanted to cross the railroad, but stumbled and fell. Allegedly, he lost consciousness when he fell as he didn’t move even when the train came close to him. The engine driver saw him too late and couldn’t stop the train.

The 61-year-old man was diagnosed with brain injury, concussion and open fracture of the right arm. He was examined by doctors and given ambulatory treatment. Today the man was allowed to go home.
