For her part, Maria Biesu thanked the Prime Minister for the visit and wished him good luck in his work. The famous opera singer Maria Biesu was born on August 3, 1935 in Volintiri, Tighina county. She made her debut in Puccini’s opera "Tosca". She performed on hundreds of stages. Since 1990, Maria Biesu has invited opera and ballet stars from all over the world to a festival bearing her name.
