Minibus with 16 passengers skids off road in Telenești

A minibus with 16 passengers headed from Soroca to Chișinău skidded off the road near the entrance to Negureni village, Telenești district.

According to the Telenești Police Inspectorate spokesperson Elena Băetrău, the accident occurred at around 06:20 this morning. The minibus driver, a 66-year-old man, lost control of the steering.

Six passengers required medical attention. The breath-alcohol tester driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
