Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu is likely to be awarded the “Labor Glory” order in the nearest future, President Igor Dodon said in the program “President Responds”, being quoted by IPN. “I earlier also said that I consider Missis Dumbrăveanu copes with this rather difficult situation and her performance yesterday showed that we have a professional as manager at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection,” stated the official.
According to President Dodon, despite the difficult situation in Moldova and worldwide the Government, the Ministry of Health, the minister in particular and also the doctors cope with the pandemic. “If you noticed the last few days, the daily number of infections decreased almost twice compared with several weeks ago at a time when the figures grow in most of the states, including at our neighbors,” he said, noting the situation in Moldova is due to the strategy implemented by experts in the field.
Igor Dodon stated he is glad that he accepted her into the team as a presidential adviser last year. A part of those who signed the simple motion against the health policies weren’t even present in the Parliament’s assembly hall during the debates as they are not interested in responses to questions, but want just to make a show.
The MPs of the Pro Moldova group and the Shor group proposed a simple motion against the health policies. After the motion was debated in Parliament, where the minister presented a report and answered the questions, the expert commission’s proposal to reject the motion was accepted by a majority of votes.
