Moldova defeated by Israel
Moldova’s National Soccer Team was defeated by Israel 1-2, in the second 2010 World Cup qualifier, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Moldova managed to score the soonest in an official match, hitting the goal in the 42nd second of the game by Igor Picusciac. However, the errors in Tricolorii’s defense made the score be 1-2 before the break. Dror Kashtan’s team scored by Omal Golan (39 minute) and Klemi Saban (45).
At the end of the match coach Igor Dobrovolski said the Moldovan team played relatively well and thanked the spectators fro supporting the team. The supporters’ chants inspired the players, the atmosphere on the stadium was fantastic, and it’s a pity we disappointed them, he said.
When asked about Moldova’s performance, Dror Kashtan said Dobrovolski’s squad made them big emotions and he was sure Greece and Switzerland to be played with later would have a hard life with Moldova.
