The cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Turkey in the field of military training will be stepped up. This is provided in an agreement signed recently that was approved by the Cabinet of Moldova on November 28, IPN reports.

The agreement regulates such aspects as the training of personnel in military academies and schools, mutual exchange of students and teachers between education institutions, participation in joint military exercises, cooperation in logistics training, military medicine and health, exchange of information about military court cases.

The agreement will be valid for five years ad could be extended. The costs for implementing it will be covered with funds from the annual budget of the Ministry of Defense.
