Moldovan doctoral students prefer economics and law
About 20% of the 1,574 Moldovans studying for their doctorate in 2008 studied economics, 13 – the law, while by about 12% - medicine and pedagogy, the National Bureau of Statistics said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
Only 1.9% of them studied psychology and 1.7% - chemistry.
According to the Bureau, the number of Moldovan doctoral students whose studies were financed from the state budget was lower than a year earlier – about 68.4% of students in 2007, as against 64.8% in 2008.
