The Government endorsed the agreement on social insurance between Moldova and Poland and submitted it to Parliament for ratification. The accord was signed last September in Warsaw, IPN reports.
Under the agreement, the Moldovan citizens in Poland and the Polish citizens in Moldova will receive old age, successor’s or disability pensions.
Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said that Moldova signed similar agreements with 10 countries, among which are Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Luxemburg. Such an accord will be also signed with Italy.
