Moldovan wines and traditions presented in Prague
Over 20 wine companies from Moldova took part in the Moldovan wine holiday held in the Czech capital of Prague. The event attracted more than 1,300 visitors, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Embassy of Moldova in the Czech Republic.
On this occasion, there was opened the first specialized shop of Moldovan wines in Plzen town. The inaugural ceremony was attended by representatives of Moldovan wine factories and people or culture who contributed to the organization of the Moldovan Wine and Culture Days in the Czech Republic.
According to a communiqué from the Embassy, Moldovan painter Teodor Buzu staged a personal exhibition of paintings. There was also mounted an exhibition of photographs of Moldova. Panpipe player Constantin Moscovici gave a concert accompanied by an artistic band from Moldova.
The Moldovan Wine and Culture Days in the Czech Republic took place late in October under the auspices of the Embassy of Moldova in Prague. The event was organized in concert with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova and “MoldVin CZ” company, which imports Moldovan alcoholic beverages into the Czech Republic.
