The UNITEM 2025 Awards Gala designated its winners, offering 17 main prizes in over 50 nominations. “Tied with a Rope to the Earth " by Lorina Bălteanu, directed by Slava Sambriș, was named the best dramatic play of the year, IPN reports.

The show "Tied with a Rope to the Earth ", a production of the "Luceafărul" National Theatre, was also awarded for the best scenography, by Adrian Suruceanu, and the best directorial work, by Slava Sambriș.

"This award is a joy. I want to thank Lorina Bălteanu for giving us the right to stage this novel, the team and the actors, without whom we couldn’t have done anything", director Slava Sambriș said in the award ceremony.

The best show for children is "The Little Mermaid", the best show of small forms is "The Son", and the best radio show is "Animal Farm".

"The Ballad of the Five Cats" was designated the best puppet show. The show also won the award for best choreography and body expression, by Valentin Ispir, and the best theatrical costumes, by Inga Botnariuc.

Irina Țăruș and Angela Ciobanu were awarded as the best actresses in a female role, for the roles of Lizzie in "The One Who Brings the Rain" and Chirița in "Chirița in concert in Chisinau".

Pavel Bartoș was awarded for the best male role, of Decebal, in the show "... Escu" and Dmitri Ahmadiev, for the role of Ivanov in the show "Ivanov".

Olga Triboi got the award for the best supporting role, of Anne in the show "The Son", and Anatol Durbala, for the role of Zahar in the show "The Glass Garden".

Irina Boiarchina won the award for the best actor in puppet theatre, for the role of Cinderella.

The prize for the most valuable debut was awarded to Ilia Vivici, for the original music in “Little Red Riding Hood", while Ada Milea and Anca Hanu were awarded for the best musical work in the show "Chirița in concert in Chisinau".

The UNITEM Awards Gala was at its 24th edition.
