The municipality has announced the initiation of a campaign to collect documents about the old Chisinau. The aim of the campaign is to gather writings, photographs, archives, journals, books and other documents for creating a database about architectural monuments situated in the historical area of the capital city, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, the historians, architects, civil society and the people who own documents about the old Chisinau and want to become involved in the campaign can send them in electronic, archived or scanned format to the email address drp@pmc.md or can take them personally to the Public Relations Division of the Chisinau City Hall.

The materials will be collected until October 1. The sketches and photos that will be brought will be scanned and archived.
