Namashko to play in Iran
The goalkeeper of Moldova’s national football team Stanislav Namashko transferred to Malavan, which rank fourth in Iran’s championship, Info-Prim Neo reports. The 26-year-old footballer will play alongside Moldovan goalkeeper Sergey Pashchenko, who also forms part of the national squad.
Since 2010, Namashko has played only four matches in Russia’s championship for the teams Kuban Krasnodar and Spartak Nalchik. However, he played all the games that involved Moldova’s squad.
National team member Alexandru Suvorov is also looking for a new club. The best Moldovan footballer of 2011 will go to train in Turkey together with Standard Belgium. The contract between the 25-year-old halfback and the Krakow team expired on December 31, 2012.
Moldovan international Denis Zmeu is in a similar situation. He was put on the transfers list by the administration of FC Vaslui as the halfback played no game last year owing to an injury. His contract with the Romanian team expires in summer. The 27-year-old footballer may play in Russia’s championship.
