The municipality announced a new stage of the “Cleanest yard in Chisinau” contest that will be held as part of the cleanup campaign until May 1, IPN reports.
In the April 1 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca asked that the district head’s offices should write the lists of dwellers who want to take part in the contest. The value of the prizes offered will cover 50%, 70% or 100% of the costs of laying out works.
Tatiana Lupascu, specialist of the City Hall’s press service, said the contest does not apply to new buildings that have recently laid-out backyards and to the yards that won the contest last year.
It should be noted that the people living at 76/6 Albisoara St in Rascani district of Chisinau, who won the contest last year, do not yet have the sports ground promised by the authorities. The ground valued at 100,000 lei was to be constructed by last December.
