Romania’s Embassy in Moldova said the law on the elimination of particular taxes and tariffs comes into force on February 1, 2017.
The tariffs that will be paid starting with this date for travel documents, visas, notarial services, civil status documents and others are available on the website of the Embassy of Romania, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the embassy.
As of February 1, the blank form of a simple electronic passport will cost €59, while of a temporary simple passport €20. The airport transit visa, the transit and short-stay visas will cost €60, while a long-stay visa €120. The registration of an application to renounce Romanian nationality will cost €600, while of an application to verify the legal status of a private individual in relation to the Romanian state €30. The application for obtaining or regaining Romanian nationality in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on Romanian Nationality will be registered at a cost of €60.
