Fifteen talented young persons will be awarded Youth Prizes in the areas of science, technology, literature and arts on November 17, Info-Prim Neo reports. At Monday’s meeting of the Chisinau services and divisions, the Culture Division head Lucia Culev said the other activities planned to be carried out on the Youth Day, between November 8 and 17, have been cancelled due to the pandemic flu. The traditional festivity to hand over the Youth Prizes could not be omitted yet. The Chisinau City Hall offers ten prizes in science and technology, while the Government – five prices in literature and arts. There will be also awarded the 27 children who won medals at the sports competitions held in Reggio Emilia in Italy. The Youth Prizes award ceremony will take place at the Organ Hall on November 17, starting at 15.00.
