The number of confirmed cases of pandemic influenza in Moldova rose by 83 during one day. The National Scientific Practical Center of Preventive Medicine announced that 638 cases of pandemic flu A (H1N1) have been confirmed by Friday morning, as against 555 on Thursday morning, Info-Prim Neo reports. 205 samples are being tested. Four men and one woman have died from pandemic flu so far. A number of 380 persons suffering from pandemic flu, seasonal flu and acute viral infections are now in hospitals in Moldova. 175 beds prepared for such patients are available in Chisinau.
