Five ministries preserved their deputy ministers. Deputy Ministers of Economy Octavian Calmic, Tudor Copaci and Valeriu Triboi, Deputy Ministers of Education Loretta Handrabura, Igor Grosu and Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, Deputy Ministers of Labor, Social Protection and Family Sergiu Sainciuc and Gheorghe Turcanu, Deputy Ministers of Culture Gheorghe Postica and Igor Sharov, and Deputy Ministers of Information and Communication Technology Dmitrii Parfentiev, Vitalii Ciolac and Vitalie Tarlev were confirmed in posts, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Finance has a new deputy minister, Simion Botnari, while Maria Caraus, who has held this post since 2009, was confirmed. Sergiu Gurduza was named as Deputy Minister of Justice, while Deputy Minister Sabina Cerbu, who has held this post since 2013, was confirmed.
Deputy Minister of the Interior Serghei Diaconu was dismissed in connection with his appointment as state senior adviser to the Prime Minister. Ion Turcanu and Oleg Babin were named as Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs. Ex-MP Alexandru Cimbriciuc will hold the post of Deputy Minister of Defense after the decree on his appointment is signed by the head of state.
Also on March 4, Anatolie Zolotcov was confirmed as Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction, while Alexandru Botnari was named in this post. Vladimir Loghin was confirmed as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, while Nicolae Olaru was appointed in this post. Gheorghe Gaberi and Serghei Ghetiu will no longer serve as Deputy Ministers of Agriculture.
At the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure, Vladimir Cebotari was confirmed as deputy minister, while Boris Gherasim was dismissed from this post and replaced by Anatol Usatyi. Deputy Minister of Health Mihai Ciocanu was discharged, while Octavian Grama and Svetlana Cotelea were confirmed as Deputy Ministers of Health.
Lazar Chirica was confirmed as Deputy Minister of the Environment, while Dorin Dusciac was dismissed based on his resignation. At the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Victor Zubcu was named as Deputy Minister, while Deputy Ministers Sergiu Stanciu and Dragos Hancu were fired.
Also, Oleg Babenco was dismissed from the post of director general of the Bureau for Interethnic Relations, while Iurie Apostolachi was appointed as director general of “Moldsilva” Forestry Agency. Anatolie Onceanu was replaced by Sergiu Ceaus as deputy secretary general of the Government.
